Actress Nandita has been roped in to play one of the lead roles in actor Vijay’s ongoing movie Puli, confirmed a source close to the production team. Nandita’s upcoming projects – Idam Porul Eval and Uppu Karuvadu – are under various stages of production.
A Times of India report said that the actress will be essaying a pivotal role in the movie and is expected to join the sets of Puli at the earliest.

The Puli team is now camping at Talakkona falls in Andhra Pradesh, shooting some important sequences for the movie. A huge village set has been erected at Andhra Pradhesh for a 15-day schedule.
Puli, directed by Chimbudevan, stars Vijay, Shruti Hassan, Hansika, Sridevi, Prabhu and Sudeep in the lead roles. Actors Joe Malloori, Vijayakumar, Aadukalam Naren, Thambi Ramaiah, Ajay Rathnam, Sathyan and Karunas are a part of the supporting cast. Composer Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for this movie in which Vijay will be seen in dual roles.
