Actor Nandoo, who starred in Pesarattu and 365 Days, is looking forward to his role as the villain of an upcoming (still untitled) Hindi-Telugu bilingual film. Although he has portrayed characters with negative aspects in films like Rabhasa and Autonagar Surya, this will be the first time he plays an out-an-out villain.

“I’ve always wished to be part of good cinema, and have never been bothered about [whether I’m] playing a hero or villain. Most of the directors I’ve worked with have advised me to never turn down [a] substantial part in films,” Nandoo told Silverscreen. Citing Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akthar, he said there were many instances of actors successfully shedding the hero tag to play brief roles in good projects.
Nandoo’s role will be played by Rajeev Khandelwal in the Hindi version of the project, which will be directed by debutant director Navneeth. The majority of the film will be shot in Mauritius, and shooting will start from June 24 onwards.
