Director Gowtam Tinnanuri’s Malli Raava made quite an impact with the ciritcs and also managed to draw the eyes of a select audience. And it seems that caught the attention of actor Nani who is set to do a film with him next.

Although announcement about the project was made recently, there was no information divulged with regards to the genre of the film. While the buzz is that it would be a romance drama, sources reveal that the film would be a sports drama with Nani himself taking to the field.
Reveals the source, “Nani will play a cricketer in the flick and has even begun preparation for the role. He’s quite excited not just because of the novelty of the film but also because he loves cricket in general.”
Nani was earlier seen in Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu, a sports drama based on the kabaddi game in a rural setup. The actor will begin work on this film sometime in September after he finishes shooting for Bigg Boss.
