Rajinikanth will be conferred with the ‘Centenary Award for Indian Film Personality of the Year’ at the 45th International Film Festival of India. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Minister of State, Information and Broadcasting, announced that the actor will be honoured at the festival which will be held in Goa between November 20 and November 30.
Amitabh Bachchan will be the chief guest at the event, as we had reported earlier.
Celebrities congratulated Rajinikanth on Twitter. Actor Vivek wrote a special poem for the star.
