Director Atlee’s next with actor Vijay (Vijay 61) will reportedly feature two leading actresses. According to reports, Nayanthara and Kajal Aggarwal are the frontrunners for the film. Both actresses have acted with Vijay in previous films – Kajal in Thuppakki, Jilla and Nayanthara in Villu.

Kajal, in a recent Deccan Chronicle report, chose not to confirm or deny the rumours. “I won’t be able to shed light on this news right now. I will talk about it later” she said.
Meanwhile, Nayanthara’s much-awaited Kaashmora is ready for release next week. Apart from this, she has completed filming Dora and has recently completed shooting for an untitled film directed by Minjur Gopi. She plays the role of a district collector in this heroine centric film.

The actress is all set to begin work on Imaikka Nodigal, directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. In the film, she will be sharing the screen with Atharvaa, Anurag Kahyap and Raashi Khanna. Apart from this, she also has a long delayed Telugu film starring Gopichand.
Kajal on the other hand is busy with two Tamil films – Kavalai Vendam and AK 57; and two Telugu films – Khaidi No.150 and an untitled film with Rana Daggubati.
The Vijay-Atlee project will be bankrolled by Thenandal Productions and will likely have Atlee’s regulars- music director GV Prakash and cinematographer George C Williams as part of it.
