Speaking to The Times of India, Boban had revealed that after he had heard the script of Nizhal, he suggested Nayanthara’s name as they required someone to play a strong female role. Boban also added that Nayanthara loved the script. Due to the pandemic, projects were postponed and hence, they decided to go ahead with the film now.
The film, touted to be a thriller, will, reportedly, go on floors from Monday.
Balaji, who has also acted in the movie, will be making his directorial debut with Mookuthi Amman. She will also begin shooting for Vignesh Sivan’s next, titled Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Akkineni.
