Nayanthara’s 55th Film Titled ‘Aramm’

Nayanthara’s 55th film, directed by Gopi Nainar, has been titled  Aramm. The poster of the film was released today, which happens to be the actress’ birthday.


Nayanthara who tries to solve the water scarcity in her jurisdiction, according to reports. The movie also stars child actors – Vignesh and Ramesh, who rose to fame with Kakka Muttai. The film’s crew includes cinematographer Om Prakash, editor Gopi Krishna, stunt choreographer Peter Hein and art director Lalgudi Ilaiyaraja. The music composer for the film has not been finalised as yet.

Gopi Nainar was in the eye of controversy after the release of AR Murugadoss’ Kaththi in October 2014. Gopi Nainar, then known as Minjur Gopi accused Murugadoss of plagiarism and alleged that the story of Kaththi is copied from his script, Moothakudi. The battle continued for close to three months, after which he withdrew his case. Incidentally, Kaththi too was about the water crisis faced by the farmers in TN.
