Nenjil Thunivirunthaal, which released on November 10, will not run in theatres from tomorrow onwards. It will release again on December 15. Director Suseenthiran, in a video posted on Twitter, said, “Due to unavoidable reasons Nenjil Thunivirunthal will not run in theatres across Tamil Nadu from tomorrow. The film will be released again on December 15. I thank those who have watched the film. I thank those who have honestly reviewed the film and also those who have given sarcastic reviews.” The director, however,  didn’t mention the exact reason behind the move.

The director had recently cut 20 minutes of the film as many criticised that certain scenes hampered the film’s pace. He had removed portions involving the heroine, Mehreen Pirzada.

Rana Daggubati to make his Malayalam debut with Anizham thirunal Marthanda Varma

Rana Daggubati will play the king of Travancore in his Malayalam debut, Anizham Thirunal Marthanda Varma, which will be directed by K Madhu.

Art director of Baahubali Manu Jagadh has been roped in for this period film. Resul Pookutty and Peter Hein are also on board for this film.

Rana made an official announcement about the project on Twitter.

A biopic on Pullela Gopichand in the pipeline

Fox Star Studios in collaboration with Abundantia Entertainment will present a biopic on badminton player and coach Pullela Gopichand. The official announcement was made on his birthday today. This Tamil, Telugu and Hindi tri-lingual will document the life of Gopichand on and off the play court. The shooting for the film will begin next year.

“I would be proud if by sharing my story as a film, we can encourage more and more people to pursue their dreams. I am excited with the developments on the film,” Gopichand said in a statement.

Deadpool 2 second teaser out 

Ryan Reynolds shared the new teaser of Deadpool 2, a hilarious tribute to Bob Ross, American painter and host of the show The Joy Of Painting. Deadpool 2 is scheduled to release on June 1, 2018.

Director David Leitch has taken over the second installment of the 2016 film from Tim Miller. Apart from Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, TJ Miller, Leslie Uggams, Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapičić, and Jack Kesy are part of the cast.
