Lakshmy Ramakrishnan’s Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe will be shooting its second schedule in Malaysia. The movie revolves around travel and the petrol crisis that gripped the state recently. And reportedly, the casting for NVM has been “done very carefully” – the film features Piaa Bajpai, Sruthi Hariharan, Thambi Ramaiah and others. Harish Venkat and Prashanth Techno – better known by their band name Madley Blues – compose music while lyrics are courtesy Na Muthukumar. Two songs for the movie are already done; and two more, to be rendered by Chinmayi and Shankar Mahadevan, will soon be recorded.
Lakshmy Ramakrishnan made her directorial debut with Aarohanam in 2012.
