Andava Kaanom to release on November 24
Andaava Kaanom, starring Sriya Reddy, will hit the screens this November 24. This black comedy set in a village, bankrolled by JSK Films, will be extensively shot in Theni. The film’s teaser was released in November last year and trailer was out in June this year.
No change in Kaala release schedule
Due to confusion over the release of 2.0, there were speculations that another Rajinikanth starrer, Kaala’s release date may get postponed. But a source from the film’s production house told Silverscreen that Kaala will be released only after 2.0. Even Rajinikanth confirmed that 2.0 will release first and then Kaala. As scheduled, Kaala will have summer release next year.

Deepika Padukone, who plays the role of Rani Padmini in the period drama Padmavati, says she is extremely nervous about the project. “It’s been awhile since I have been so nervous. I can’t remember the time I was so nervous. I think it is the function of the fact that in all the movies that I’ve done, I feel there is something (different) about this one. And it is not from the heart, it is not from the head, it is from the gut… It is coming from a completely different place,” Deepika told IANS.

While ‘Karuthvanellam Galeejam’ from Velaikaran is already a rage, now, the second single, ‘Iraiva+Uyire’, from the film, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, will be released tomorrow. About ‘Iraiva’, Anirudh said, “It will be a two-in-one song as we have taken up emotions of love and life in this song. So, it will be ‘Iraiva + Uyire’ from November 2.”
Former adult star Mia Khalifa likely to make her Malayalam debut?
Former adult star, Mia Khalifa is likely to act in the sequel to Chunkzz, which is to be directed by Omar Lulu. The sequel to the Malayalam film has been titled as Chunkzz 2: The Conclusion and the shoot will start from May 2018. However, later the director stated that there is no confirmation whether Mia will be working or not. So far, they have only initiated the talks.

Sivakarthikeyan launched Soori’s Amman Restaurant in Madurai today. Taking some time off from his Velaikaran shoot, Sivakarthikeyan went all the way to Madurai for this launch for his friend Soori. Also, Sivakarthikeyan and Soori have worked together in films like Manam Kothi Paravai, Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga, Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajini Murugan. They have also teamed up again for Ponram’s next film.
