Director Priyadarshan is currently remaking the Malayalm film Maheshinte Prathikaram with Udhayanidhi in the lead. The film has been titled, Nimir. Actor Mohanlal officially launched the title on Twitter last night.

Udhayanidhi and team started shooting for the film in Kuttralam and Thenkasi from July 19. Udhay will be playing Fahadh Faasil’s role in this remake, while Namitha Pramod and Parvathi Nair play the female leads. Samuthirakani has written the dialogues for the film. He also has an important role in the movie.
