Nirup Bhandari Plays Sanjeev Gambhira In ‘Phantom’; Character Poster Out Now

The character poster of actor Nirup Bhandari in Kiccha Sudeep starrer Phantom has been released on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. Helmed by Anup BhandariPhantom is being bankrolled by Manjunath Gowda (Jack Manju) and wife Shalini Manjunath under the Shalini Artss banner.

The poster features Nirup in casuals with a sling bag and headphones around his neck. He is found standing inside an intricately carved hollow iron door that looks like a skull.

Nirup shared the poster on Twitter.

The makers have decided to release the character posters of all actors in the film gradually. To begin with, on Monday, the character poster of lead actor Kiccha Sudeep was released. It featured the actor who plays Vikranth Rona in a sleeveless shirt, jeans, boots, and cap. Equipped with a whip and gun, he is seen seated on the bottom part of the hollow skull door.

The adventure drama that marks the first association of Anup Bhandari and Kichcha, reported stars Shraddha Srinath as the female lead. William David is handling the camera with Shiva Kumar J on art, and B Ajaneesh Loknath composing for the film.

The team commenced with shoot last month at Annapurna Studios, Telangana, after the hiatus imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. The actor said that the cast and crew were complying with all the safety rules and regulations imposed by the governments without fail. He also shared short video clips from the sets stating that he was extremely excited about commencing shoot.

While crucial portions will be shot in Hyderabad, a major chunk of the scenes will also be filmed in Bengaluru. The team has already completed a schedule prior to the lockdown.

Apart from Phantom, Nirup will also feature in debutant Sheethal Shetty’s Window Seat which is also being bankrolled by Manjunath Gowda (Jack Manju). Amrutha Iyengar and Sanjana Anand will play the female leads in the film.
