Actor Nivetha Thomas has resumed shooting for Vakeel Saab with Pawan Kalyan. She took to Twitter and posted a photo from the sets of the film.

Vakeel Saab is the Telugu remake of the 2016 Hindi film Pink and is being directed by Venu Sriram. Besides Nivetha Thomas, the film co-stars Anjali and Ananya Nagalla, who will be reprising the roles of Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang, respectively. Pawan Kalyan will reprise Amitabh Bachchan‘s role.
Shooting of the film was halted when the Covid-19-related lockdown was implemented late in March. The film, initially referred to as PSPK 26, was supposed to release in May and the first poster was released on March 2. However, none of the other actors featured in it, in contrast to Pink and Nerkonda Paarvai (2019), its respective Hindi and Tamil counterparts.
The original film, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, had won the Best Film on Social Issues at the 64th National Film Awards.
Produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor, this film will mark the return of the lead actor after a hiatus of two years. The music is composed by SS Thaman.

She has signed a Telugu cop drama along with Regina Cassandra. The film is going to be a remake of Korean film Midnight Runners.
