Ravi Teja’s Kick 2 was scheduled for release in the first week of June, but so far, there’s been no word from the filmmakers. While sources suggest that a July release is likely, going by the number of major films lined up for July, there’s a good chance that Kick 2 may not make it in July either.

Even if the film manages a next-month release, it will be in heavy competition with Baahubali, Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu, and Salman Khan’s Bajarani Bhaijaan at the box-office. Some reports suggest that plans to release the film on June 26 had to be shelved on account of Rudhramadevi.
A sequel to Surender Reddy’s Kick, the film Kick 2 stars Rakul Preet Singh and Ravi Kishan in lead roles, while Thala 56 villain Kabir Singh plays the baddie.
