The film’s title poster was recently released by actor Kunchacko Boban through his social media handle. Nowayout is produced by Remosh MS under the Remo Entertainmentz banner with Seenabai Vipin serving as the executive producer.

While many filmmakers get inspiration for their films from day-to-day events or specific real-life incidents, Nithin, who previously worked as an ad filmmaker, says his story ideas are usually based on his dreams. This was the case with the upcoming film too. “I happened to see a particular sequence in a dream one day. I penned that on paper and gradually developed it into a story.”

After completing the first draft of the story, he worked on the narration with emphasis on how to make the content appealing to the audience. He then added some more entertainment elements and enhanced the script.

Pisharody, the actor, director, television presenter and comedian, was one of the first choices of the makers of Nowayout. According to Nithin, they wanted someone with whom the audience could easily connect. “Pisharody is a popular TV and film artist who has a good fan base. Hence, we roped him in for the lead role,” says Nithin, adding that the film also features Raveena Nair as the female lead and Basil Joseph in a guest role.

The filmmaker notes that sound plays a major role in the film. The music is composed by KR Rahul and Nowayout features a couple of songs. The technical crew also includes DOP Vargheese David, editor KR Midhun and art director Girish Menon.

The team is currently shooting for Nowayout in Ernakulam. “We began filming on August 20 and the film is being shot in a confined location – a single house. One of the significant aspects of Nowayout are its high-risk sequences. They were very challenging to film and Pisharody put in a lot of effort to execute them well and safely,” says Nithin, who adds that the team will be wrapping up the shoot on Monday.
