Onnume Puriyala‘s remake rights have been snapped up by a German company. The movie, which is yet to release, had a private screening recently in Germany, following which a film company there approached director Aparna Ramkumar. Speaking to The Times of India, Aparna said, “To be honest, we had no idea that this would happen. My brother lives in Germany and he held a private screening to the members of a film direction unit. After watching my film, they said they liked the screenplay and the plot. But even then, I wasn’t expecting them to buy the remake rights.”

The film is about a call centre employee who is affected by stress, and has Jack Michael in the lead. AR Reihana composes music. We hear that the film will be made in German as well as English.
