Oru Oorla Rendu Raja is now officially scheduled to release on October 2. With Karthi’s Madras too gunning for the same date, it looks like a wonderful holiday indeed. Starring Vimal, Priya Anand and Soori, the film is an out-and-out entertainer and has some really cool songs by D Imman. The Kukkuru Kukkuru number rendered by Lakshmi Menon has become a chartbuster and is ruling the airwaves right now.
R Kannan has directed the flick, and it is to be noted that this is the first original story from the filmmaker (all his previous ventures were remakes). Michael Rayappan has produced it under his Global Infotainment banner. The music was launched in August in a star studded ceremony in Chennai.
