Director P Ranjith released the first look of actor Kalaiarasan’s upcoming movie, China. The movie, directed by Harshavardhana, has Kalaiarasan and Ritu Varma in the lead roles. Music is composed by Ved Shankar of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanum fame.

Actor Kalaiarasan, in his interview with Deccan Chronicle, said, “China is a suspense thriller that is centred around the life of an individual who owns a shop in Burma Bazaar. My character name is Madhi, who plays the role of a middle-class man”.
The actor is currently working on multiple projects. In the pipeline are Kaala Koothu, Pattinapakkam, Eidhavan etc. The actor has also played a significant role alongside superstar Rajnikanth in Kabali.
