The shooting of Kamal Haasan’s Papanasam has been wrapped up. The film is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam movie, Drishyam. Actress Gouthami comes back to acting after 19 years with this flick. Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the movie also features Nivedha Thomas, Asha Sharath and Kalabhavan Mani. Papanasam – reportedly filmed in 39 days – will feature a lot of stunt sequences unlike the original.
The movie is produced by Sripriya under her banner Rajkumar Theatres Private Limited and Wide Angle Creations. Ghibran composes music. Post-production work for the film is currently on.
