Pappali, which has Senthil and Ishara in the lead, will release on July 11. The film stresses on the importance of education in a person’s life and “is made with good intentions,” according to director A Govindhamoorthi. The director has tried to include only positive characters in the film and “has stayed away from stereotypes”. For instance, the mother-in-law character played by Saranya Ponvannan is shown to be very kind and loving.
Actress Saranya Ponvannan plays a pivotal role along with Ilavarasu, Aadukalam Naren and Singampuli Jegan among others. Yesteryear actress Nirosha also guest-stars in this flick. The movie is being produced by S Ambedkumar and Ranjiv Menon for Arasoor Movies. Vijay Ebenezer composes music while Vijay handles the cinematography.
