Ramula – Tharun Bascker

Ramula stars Lakshmi Manchu, Saanve Megghana and Naveen Kumar. Debutant actor Megghana, who essays the titular role, in a press statement said, “The central theme of Pitta Kathalu is the power dynamics between men and women. Ramula is the story of a free spirited girl, quite ordinary, and her extraordinary journey with her lover.”

Meera – BV Nandini Reddy

Meera, written by Radhika Anand, stars Jagapathi Babu, Amala Paul and Aswin Kakamanu. Paul, who essays the role of Meera, said, “Meera is the story of a courageous woman and her ordeals. It touches upon several sensitive themes that make the story both impactful and relatable. It is even more gripping due to the short film format. There is so much enigma to the character of this woman, Meera, standing up against society but at the same time, trying to hide her true self from the world.”

xLife – Nag Ashwin

xLife stars Shruti Haasan, Sanjith Hegde, Sangeet Shobhan, Anish Kuruvilla, UKO, Dayanand Reddy and Thanmayi. Calling the story of xLife “ahead of its time yet relatable” Haasan, who plays the role of Divya, said, “Playing a character of a woman who is strong and speaks up against the preconceived notions of society was an incredible experience. While the story is set in a futuristic world, it is seen in some form or the other in today’s world as well and I hope audiences can understand the seriousness of it.”
