This Jigarthanda is for your eyes
We know you have been eagerly awaiting news about Jigarthanda, director Karthik Subbaraj’s second project after his 2012 hit Pizza. Subbaraj has revealed on Twitter that the trailer and the first look for Jigarthanda, will be revealed this week. Starring Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon in the lead, the flick is set in Madurai and touted to be a “city-based action drama”. The story revolves around a film director who wants to make a movie on a gangster. What are our expectations? As long as the lead character isn’t locked in a dark house for more than an hour into the movie (think Pizza), we think we would enjoy it. Also in the film are Bobby Simha of Soodhu Kavvum fame and actor-director Prathap Pothen. Need more incentive? The movie was featured in Forbes’ magazine as one of the Five Indian Films to See in 2014. Jigarthanda is expected to hit theatres soon.
