Tollywood actor Prabhas is expected to make a cameo appearance in Suriya’s upcoming Tamil film Singam 3. At a press meet of Baahubali : The Conclusion held at Hyderabad, director SS Rajamouli said that there would be an exciting announcement to be made on the 5th of October and that will be a treat for Prabhas’ fans and South Indian cinema as well. He clarified that the announcement is not about Baahubali, Prabhas’ next film or his much talked about marriage either.
So now, the buzz is that the announcement will be about Prabhas’s cameo in Singam 3.
In April this year, as part of promoting the Nadigar Sangam’s fundraising cricket match, Suriya had invited Prabhas to attend the event. In a TV show, Suriya had said, on a light note, that he will love to have a cameo of Prabhas in S3 in exchange for a cameo role for himself in Baahubali 2.
Going by the reports, it seems like at least one of the two deals have come true. Baahubali was a great success in Tamil Nadu too, making Prabhas a known personality for the Tamil sudience.
Singam 3, will release on December 16. Directed by Hari, this is the third installment of the successful Singam franchise. Singam 3 has Anushka Shetty and Shruthi Haasan as the female leads. The supporting cast includes Krish, Soori and Radhikaa Sarathkumar. The music for the film will be composed by Harris Jayaraj.

Produced by Studio Green’s KE Gnanavel Raja, the film began shooting earlier this year. S3 was mostly shot across Chennai, Vishakapattinam, Madurai and Kaaraikudi. Reportedly, a romantic song, featuring Suriya and Anushka, was shot in Romania. Apart from a few action sequences, a song for the film is yet to be shot.
Meanwhile, it has been announced that the first video teaser of Baahubali : The Conclusion will be released on the 22nd of October, ahead of Prabhas’ birthday.
