Actors Karthi and Vishal will be acting together in a film titled Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja. Prabhu Deva will be directing the film under Isari Ganesh’s production. The last Tamil film Prabhu Deva directed was Vedi in 2011 starring Vishal.
It has been a year since Vishal, Karthi and Nasser’s team won the Nadigar Sangam elections, and there have been plans of the young actors of the Sangam acting in a film together to raise funds for the organization.
But the actors have confirmed that this film will not be connected to the Sangam in any manner. A source close to actor Vishal said to Deccan Chronicle, “Yes, it is true, but it’s in the nascent stage now. Both Vishal and Karthi have other commitments. They will complete those projects and then join KRVR.”
The film is expected to be an action entertainer and the actors will begin shooting for the film once they complete their other commitments.

Vishal is currently filming Vishal’s Thupparivaalan and the pre production work of Irumbu Thirai has also begun. Karthi is shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai.
While the details on cast and crew have not been announced, reports indicate that either Anirudh or Harris Jayaraj will be brought on board to compose the music in the film. It is also reported that, owing to the popularity of Prabhu Deva, Vishal and Karthi in Tollywood, the film will likely be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
