Prakash Raj in Ranjith-Rajini Film and Jolly LLB Remake

Prakash Raj, who is now busy shooting for the Kamal Haasan-starrer Thoongavanam, has now confirmed that he has been approached to play a role in Pa. Ranjith’s upcoming movie with Rajinikanth. While he announced that he will be playing an important role, he refused to divulge more details about it.

Earlier, speculations were rife that Kalaiyarasan of Madras fame was cast in the film, but the actor later dismissed the reports.

Official announcement regarding the rest of the cast is expected in a few weeks’ time. The filming begins in August with a 60-day schedule in Malaysia, followed by other locations such as Hong Kong, Thailand and Chennai.

Also, we hear that Prakash Raj has been roped in to reprise the role played by Boman Irani in the remake of Jolly LLB. Actor Udhyanidhi Stalin will play the role which was done by Arshad Warsi in the original. This film is to be directed by Ahmed, whose previous film was  Endrendrum Punnagai.
