Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return as the titular anti-hero in the third installment of Don. The film reportedly has a story locked, and a formal announcement with other details is expected soon.
Producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirmed the production of Don 3 recently, hinting that there’s a lot to look forward to this time. “We are thinking about Don 3 and we are thinking very hard on it. We have found the right idea, it’s being written now. We will make an official announcement soon,” he said.
It was speculated that Katrina Kaif might replace Priyanka Chopra in the film, but Ritesh chose not to confirm or deny this. “Wait for the announcement,” he reiterated.

Don was released in 2006 starring SRK, Priyanka, and Kareena Kapoor. The second installment of the film came out in 2011 with SRK and Priyanka reprising their roles. Both films were directed by Farhan Akhtar.
SRK is currently involved in the the promotions of his upcoming film with Anushka Sharma, Jab Harry Met Sejal, directed by Imtiaz Ali. He will also be seen with Anushka and Katrina Kaif in Aanand L Rai’s next, in which he will be seen playing a dwarf.
