Prithviraj Sukumaran Explains Why Gautham Menon’s Next Needs More Time

Contrary to recent report that Gautham Menon’s next film was being shelved, one of the film’s lead actors Prithvijraj Sukumaran has said that the film was just taking time to come together because of the number of stars involved.

Menon’s next film is a bilingual with an ensemble cast. Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has already been finalised as one of the leads. When asked about reports that the film would be shelved, Sukumaran told reporters, “I have been paid advance and I’m already on board. The project requires lead actors from four southern industries, and hence, it’s taking time to materialise. I don’t think it has been shelved.”

The film is about four friends who meet at a wedding after a long time and decide to go on a trip.

The Acham Yenbhathu Madamaiyada director is already in talks with Simbu, Sai Dharam Tej, and Puneet Rajkumar for lead roles.

Gautham Menon will reportedly bankroll the Tamil and Malayalam versions while Puneet Rajkumar will produce the Kannada version. An official announcement on the Telugu producer is expected soon.
