Actress Priyamani will be essaying the role of a CBI officer in a yet-untitled Telugu-Kannada bilingual, which is scheduled to release in August. According to the film’s director R.P Patnaik, Priya’s role will remind audiences of Vijayashanthi in Khartavyam.
Talking to Silverscreen, Patnaik said: “The reason I chose her for this role is because I know she can play it effortlessly. Priya is extremely talented, and her performance will be similar to or even surpass that of Vijayashanthi’s character in Khartavyam“.
He added that the story is a political thriller, filled with riveting drama that is bound to engage the audience.
