Refuting reports from news agencies who were ‘in a hurry to publish wrong news’, producer SR Prabhu has clarified that actor Karthi’s next film Kashmora is still in production. Despite going on floors a few months ago, due to slow progress, erroneous reports had claimed that the film had been shelved. SR Prabhu clarified that the film’s team would begin the second schedule soon.

Kashmora is being directed by Gokul of Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumaara fame. Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, Kashmora stars Karthi, Nayanthara and Sri Divya, along with Vivek as Karthi’s father. The film, in a first for Indian cinema according to the producers, has used a 360 degree omnidirectional camera rig to shoot an important sequence.
