Actress Shruti Haasan recently produced and starred in an advertisement that aimed to create awareness about dengue in Tamil Nadu. The advertisement was done in association with the Tamil Nadu Government.

“It’s our first production which makes us very proud. I didn’t want to miss out on an opportunity to voice my opinion for a social cause. If our voice can make a difference, so be it. I’m glad it has been received well,” she said.
The advertisement will be played across cinema halls in Tamil Nadu.
The 31-year-old actress is currently awaiting the release of her movie, Behen Hogi Teri where she will be seen along with National Award winning actor, Rajkummar Rao.
Meanwhile, Shruti walked out of mega-budget historical drama, Sanghamitra, as she did not “received a bound script or a proper schedule.”
