Sony Music, having secured the audio rights of director Manimaran’s Pugazh starring Jai and Surabhi, is all set to launch the audio of the movie on July 3. The Pugazh album, composed by duo Vivek-Mervin, is a star-fuelled one with singers Hariharan, Chithra, Tum Hi Ho fame Arjith Singh, Anirudh Ravichander and RJ Balaji lending their voices for the songs in the movie. This album also features the independent music band, Tupakeys.
Pugazh is set against a political backdrop, and narrates the story of an underdog. Jai essays the role of ‘a common man’ while Karunas and RJ Balaji are part of the supporting cast.
Produced by Radiance Media, the film has cinematography by Velraj, who helmed Velai Illa Pattadhari.
