VFX supervisor RC Kamalakannan, who recently did the computer graphics work for Puli, will be supervising the VFX work for director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion. The first part of the series, Baahubali: The Beginning, had VFX supervisor Srinivas Mohan. While Srinivas Mohan won acclaim for his work in the film, according to sources, he isn’t available to work on the sequel as he has committed to working on Shankar’s Endhiran 2.

The pre-production work for Baahubali: The Conclusion has already begun, and shooting is expected to begin by mid-November or early December. Actress Anushka, who had gained weight for her role in Inji Iduppazhagi (Size Zero in Telugu), has been training hard for the Baahubali sequel.
Baahubali: The Begining starred Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Nasser, Sathyaraj, and Ramya Krishnan. The film had worldwide earnings of approximately Rs.600 crores. The film was also screened at the Busan International Film Festival this year.
RC Kamalakannan has earlier worked with SS Rajamouli in Magadheera and Eega.
