Filmmaker Puri Jagganadh, who is currently working on his film Loafer, which has Varun Tej playing the lead, might direct Akhil Akkineni next.
As the production works of Akhil’s eponymously titled film Akhil is almost complete, talks regarding his second project have been initiated. Reportedly, Bandla Ganesh will produce Puri’s film with Akhil, and the project might go on the floors later this year.
Akhil’s debut film, which is directed by V.V Vinayak, is slated for release on October 21.
