Puriyadha Aanandham Puthithaga Aarambam Was Vaali’s Last Project

At the press meet of Puriyadha Aanandham Puthithaga Aarambam, director Thambi Syed Ibrahim revealed that lyricist Vaali last worked on this movie. Coincidentally, the song that he penned was about death. The director also added that the entire team is saddened because Vaali couldn’t watch the movie.

Director Syed said, “It was Vaali sir who suggested producer Ibrahim Rowther when I narrated the story. Vaali sir himself called Rowther and fixed an appointment for me, and when I narrated the story, he immediately agreed to produce the movie.”

On choosing singer Krish as the hero, the director said, “I saw Krish on screen in the song Aga Naga from Ko. Even though he comes for just one scene, I was sure that I wanted him as the hero for my movie. When I narrated the story to him, he graciously accepted.”

Krish, who is debuting as a hero with this film, said that music directors Yuvan Shankar Raja and Vijay Antony helped him when he was going through a rough patch in the music industry. “My wife Sangeetha usually never appreciates anyone, but after seeing the movie, she said I’m going to thrive in the cinema industry.”
