The director of MSKS, Sai Ramani has now apologised. Ramani issued a press note saying, “Considering the helping nature and the humanity supporting activities of my hero Raghava Lawrence, I had used the title Makkal Superstar in the film. This was an outcome of our love and affection towards Lawrence which did not surprise him. He immediately called and reprimanded me. He had also invited media friends to convey that only Rajinikanth is World Superstar and that he does not need Makkal Superstar title.
