Raghava Lawrence told Silverscreen it was too early to confirm anything, but talks were in progress. He said, “It’s too early to discuss it. At present, we’re all only in talks.”
According to reports, it was Prasad who had recommended Lawrence for the lead role.
SS Rajamouli’s former associate, Mahadev, will direct the film. This will mark his directorial debut.
An official announcement regarding the project and its cast and crew is expected soon. The film will be simultaneously filmed in Tamil and Telugu.
