Rajini Murugan, starring Sivakartikeyan and Keerthi Suresh, was scheduled for a September 17 release. The film directed by Ponram and bankrolled by director Lingusamy of Thirrupathi Brother, had faced a few financial troubles in the past, about which the producer had spoken about at the film’s audio launch.
The latest reports suggest that the film may pull out of the September 17 race, which also sees films like Maya, Unakenna Venum Sollu and 49-O. Rajini Murugan was certified ‘U’ by the Censor Board earlier this week.
Now, it seems like films like Trisha Illana Nayanthara starring GV Prakash and Mapla Singam, featuring Vemal and Anjali ,might also release on the date.
