Rajinikanth left Chennai to begin shoot of his Kaala earlier today. Addressing reporters outside his Poes Garden home, Rajinikanth said:

“I’m starting shoot of Kaala tomorrow in Mumbai. My work has begun now. Your (reporters) work is also there. Please do your job and also please let me go now and do my work.”
Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film is about Karikalan, a Tamil gangster who tries to help Thirunelveli based Tamilians in Mumbai.
Actors Anjali Patil, Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani star in this film that has music by Santhosh Narayanan and cinematography by Murali G. Dhanush is the producer.
