Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are likely to attend the inauguration of Indian International Film Festival (IIFF) that is going to take place in Goa. In an interview to The Indian Express, Vani Tripathi, a member of the IIFF, said that the festival will be conducted from November 20 to 30. The committee has planned to honour filmmaker Richard Attenborough, who directed Gandhi.
Vani added that they intend to honour him for making Gandhi, and for all the other landmarks films that he directed.
The IIFF team is currently working on their agenda, and Attenborough’s family will be invited when the plan is finalised. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry will release an official statement soon.
