Rajinikanth’s next film with Pa Ranjith will go on the floors next month. In a recent Twitter interaction with fans, the film’s producer Dhanush said that plans were on to ensure that the film goes on floors by mid-May.

An official announcement regarding the cast and crew is still awaited. While news of the project is speculative at this point, Rajini is expected to undergo a makeover for his role in what will most likely be a gangster film.
Meanwhile, according to some reports, Vidya Balan will play the female lead. Reports also indicate that Sean Roldan might be roped in to compose the music. Pa Ranjith is also expected to retain his old crew of cinematographer Murali G and editor Praveen KL.
