Rajinikanth paid his respects to late director K Balachander at his home in Alwarpet yesterday. Addressing the media later, Rajini said, “KB sir’s death is a huge loss to the Tamil film industry. No way there can be another man like him again. He looked after me like his own son, and never treated me like just another actor. I feel like I’ve lost myself.”
