Actor Rajinikanth took the crew of Pa Ranjith’s upcoming film by surprise by showing up for a rehearsal session. The director of Madras has signed Rajinikanth in the lead, but was not expecting the actor during the workshop. Reportedly, the iconic actor took the session quite seriously, welcoming suggestions on his acting and body language.
Filming of the yet-untitled film begins in August. The team will head to Malaysia for 60 days, before continuing the shoot in Hong Kong, Thailand and Chennai. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the film has on board music director Santhosh Narayanan, editor Praveen KL and cinematographer Murali G Kabilan. The makers are still looking for a suitable female lead.
