Rajinikanth To Meet His Fans Between May 15 And 19

Rajinikanth will finally meet his fans and indulge in a few photo-ops between May 15 and 19. According to a PTI report in DC, invitations have been sent out to various fans clubs of the actor, inviting them for the many activities in store for them during those four days.

The actor will reportedly not have any discussions with his fans, and the interaction will be all about taking photographs.

Rajinikanth had last met his fans back in 2009, soon after Sivaji The Boss‘s release and its subsequent success at the box office.

Speaking to NDTV, Sridhar, who heads the Rajini Fans LIC Association, said, “Every weekend, between 1983-1990, it used to be like a mela for us as our Thalaivar had photo sessions with us. We look forward to this.”

Next week, fans can arrive as early as 7 am at the venue. Reportedly, 17 districts will be covered this time. Passes will be given to 200 to 250 fans from each district and every day, three to four districts will be covered.

The actor was scheduled to meet his fans in April this year, but the meet was postponed after fans requested individual photos with him, and for more group interactions. The actor also found himself in trouble when he was scheduled to meet his fans in Sri Lanka.
