It looks like Rajinikanth is back with a bang from the US! According to sources, the Superstar will continuously shoot for 45 days during the current Chennai schedule. Nana Patekar, who plays the antagonist, joins the team on August 4.

A source from the film’s unit tells Silverscreen, “The shoot is on in full swing. Thalaivar has been working double shifts – from early morning till noon and from evening till night. The shoot might extend to 60 days. After this schedule, the team again heads to Mumbai.”
Certain locations of Dharavi have been recreated in Chennai and a massive set has been erected for the shoot. The team wrapped up the first schedule in Mumbai last month. The film is slated to hit screens for Pongal 2018.
