Rakul Preet Singh and co-star Karthi, who have worked together in upcoming Tamil action thriller Theeram Adhigaaram Ondru, are set to reunite for another yet-untitled Tamil project, a source said.
“They are teaming up again for a romantic drama. The film will be directed by debutant Rajath and will go on the floors next year,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS.

Last seen on screen in Mahesh Babu’s Telugu-Tamil bilingual Spyder, Rakul hopes to bounce back strongly with Theeram Adhigaaram Ondru.
Her previous Tamil outings Puthagam and Yennamo Yedho were duds.
“I don’t see Adhigaaram as a comeback to Tamil industry. I have been working round the year in Telugu industry. I have been busy. It’s just that my focus has been on Telugu filmdom these last couple of years,” Rakul had told IANS.
The new Karthi-Rakul project will be bankrolled by Prince Picture, who had produced Suriya’s SI 3.
