“We worked really hard to deliver a film which would entertain all of you. Unfortunately, the vision could not get translated properly on screen and we could not meet your expectations,” said the Magadheera star. Recently, actor Aamir Khan too had come forward acknowledging the failure of his Thugs Of Hindostan.

Ram Charan thanked everyone who worked on the film and was associated with it. “I would like to thank each and every technician who strove day and night to execute Vinaya Vidheya Rama. No amount of words is sufficient to describe the support extended by our producer DVV Danayya. I will always be grateful to my distributors and exhibitors who believed in our film and backed it.”

Vinaya Vidheya Rama was directed by Boyapati Srinu and released on January 11 during the Sankranti festival. The movie featured Kiara Advani as the female lead while Vivek Oberoi played the main antagonist. Also featured in the movie were actors Prasanna, Sneha and Aryan Rajesh.

The actor, while speaking at a pre-release event had said, “For four years our director Boyapati Srinu worked on the script of Vinaya Vidheya Rama. He wants to deliver a film that the fans will enjoy. And just like Lord Ram, my character will have respect and anger. Every human has these two qualities.”

But soon after the release, the movie was trolled heavily for certain scenes, even prompting the makers to do away with them. Despite these negative reviews and word of mouth responses, the movie had a decent run at the box office.

The makers are currently in the process of dubbing and releasing the movie in Tamil. Earlier, it was reported that the dubbed version would release in February.
