The biopic Ramanujan will soon make its way to Hollywood. The makers, Camphor Cinema, have inked a deal with Von Ryans Entertainment to distribute the movie abroad. The English language film will make its debut in the Toronto International Film Festival next month. This makes Ramanujan the first Indian (English language) production to get a worldwide release.
Directed by Gnana Rajasekaran, the movie has Abhinay Vaddi in the titular role. With an all star cast including Suhasini Maniratnam, YG Mahendra, Nizhalgal Ravi among others, it opened to mostly positive reviews last month and has managed a decent run at the box office.
