Actress Ramya Krishnan, who essays the role of Sivagami in the upcoming epic war drama, Baahubali: The Beginning, has been roped in to play a professor in her next Telugu film, a love story set in a college.
The film is set to go on the floors shortly, and will be directed by Manoj. Manoj has previously assisted Suresh Krishna and Krishna Vamsi, but this film will mark his debut as a director. According to Manoj, Ramya’s role will present her in a new avatar, different from all her past roles.
Other important roles are played by Posani Krishna Murali, Raghubabu and Shankar. The film will be produced by Uma Parvathi, who had earlier made the critically acclaimed Kolimi, and SS Thaman will be composing the music.
