The latest teaser of Rangasthalam, starring Ram Charan, introduces Rama Lakshmi, the character played by Samantha Akkineni.
Directed by Sukumar, the film is touted to be a period drama set in a village. The first teaser showed Ram Charan as the quirky ‘sound engineer’ Chitti Babu who has a hearing impairment.

The film also stars Adhi Pinnisetty as Chitti Babu’s brother, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, and music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under Mythri Movie Makers banner, and is slated as a March 30 release. This is the first movie the actress appearing after her marriage.
