Director Ranjit Jeyakodi who shot to fame with Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raaniyum, recently announced the title of his next project. The film ,that completed shooting before lockdown, is titled Yaarukkum Anjaeland it stars starring Bindu Madhavi and debutant Darshana Banik. The post-production work of the film had to be halted because of the lockdown which saw a temporary suspension of movie-related activity across the industry.
The team has now resumed post-production work with dubbing for Bindu Madhavi. Ranjit Jeyakodi took to Twitter to share a still along with the news that they have begun dubbing on Saturday evening, July 11.

Touted to be a psychological thriller, Yaarukkum Anjael is being bankrolled by Devarajulu Markandeyan under his Third Eye Entertainment banner. The film revolves around two sisters, played by Bindu and Darshana, and the problems they face and tackle while they visit their hometown to sell their land.
Sam CS is composing for the film with Bavan Sreekumar on the edit. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be revealed. The film shot entirely in Ooty was completed in a period of 30 days.

Meanwhile, Ranjit’s previous film Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum starring Harish Kalyan and Shilpa Manjunath recently completed a year since its release and even saw a cover version of the hit song ‘Kannama’ by Harish Kalyan drop. The ‘Original Sound Track’ (OST) of the film was also released by the team.
The movie did not open to good reviews from critics and audiences. The thriller love story saw Harish play an ill-tempered youngster owing to a bad childhood. The film is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
